Repertoire Lists

sounds and styles

Repertoire Lists for the Piano Adventures Exams are based on pieces in the Basic Piano Adventures curriculum, the PreTime to BigTime Library and The Developing Artist Library which includes piano literature, sonatinas, and other composer works.

Each level of the Exams has 3 Repertoire Lists to choose from:

  • List 1 features lively, faster moving pieces.
  • List 2 features slower, more lyric pieces.
  • List 3 is the student’s choice and features many sounds and styles.

The Exam levels begin at the first year of playing and progress to a late intermediate level: Primer, Level 1, Level 2A, Level 2B, Level 3A, Level 3B, Level 4, and Level 5. The repertoire has been carefully chosen for students to enjoy a wide variety of pieces to express their personal artistry at the piano.
